Welcome Back

If you were like us, you enjoyed the holiday break but were eager to get back into the swing of things and sink your teeth into a New Year!`
We couldn’t be more excited about what 2012 holds for Insight Group PLC and our investors.
Last year, we successfully sold out of our Moringa Oleifera “Miracle Tree” Project in Mozambique and extended the offering in the Gambia (click here to find out more).

We also launched BIO E-GRASS™, a biomass crop that yields 2 ½ times the ethanol of corn and does not require arable land in order to grow. We feel given the staggering increases to food prices, we wouldn’t be socially responsible if we contributed to this growing issue (no pun intended!).

This year, our focus is getting back to business – in property. There are numerous distressed sale opportunities that have presented itself to us in the USA, UAE, Canary Islands and more. Stay tuned for more in relation to Dubai over the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can download our Dubai Research Report here.

Ireland’s Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine has announced the launch of the 2012 Bioenergy Scheme to support the production of Miscanthus Giganteus (the crop used in Insight Group PLC’s BIO E-GRASS™ project) and Willow.

It is anticipated that this will lead to increased interest from farmers who wish to become involved in energy crop production resulting in 1,400 additional hectares being farmed in the region.
